Daimler is launching the 8G Double Clutch gearbox production line in Sebes, Romania
A new phase of Daimler’s investment in Romania starts today. The company is launching a new production line in Sebes, at its local subsidiary Star Assembly. The plant production is enhanced with the 8G Double Clutch gearbox for Mercedes-Benz cars.
With over EUR 250 million additional investment for increasing its production capacity, Daimler will generate another 500 new jobs at Star Assembly in Sebes, Romania.
