Clariant invests over 100 million Euros in a sunliquid flagship facility in Romania, at Podari, near Craiova.
Paula Pîrvănescu, Secretary of State InvestRomania, attended the event that marked the beginning of the construction works, together with H.E. Urs Herren, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Bucharest.
The plant will be operational in 2020, with a production capacity of 50,000 metric tons of cellulosic ethanol annually, and will generate 100 direct jobs linked to plant operation and 300 indirect jobs in agri/logistics industry.
